BBC PUBLICATION

After emailing and calling, calling and emailing, and being close a few times with publication, I finally got my immigrant story on the life of Sub-Saharan Africans in Spain published on the BBC web site. If you'd like to take a look here it is.

Hi Charlie,

I actually ended up on your site coming from the BBC site.

Congratulations on getting published, the pictures and subject are really, really impressive.

I was just in BCN last week and I'm shocked at how invisible the situation is if you stick to the old/touristy areas.

Likewise I visited your website via the BBC. I loved the photo story. I've lived in Spain for a couple of years now, and I have found it sad to see these immigrants who obviously want to work, stuck in a position where they more often than not end up working for gangmasters selling counterfeit goods.

Ben- I'm not sure if they are exactly stuck working for gangmasters, but they are left very few options.
